I was traveling across country and my engine blew in Minnesota. Stranded, I went to Honest-1 based on a recommendation from a friend. Yes, replacing an engine was costly, but they adjusted their schedule to make the repair happen quickly so that I could head home. The care and attention they showed me spoke volumes, and anyone in the Twin Cities would be fortunate to have their car repaired here.

I went here to have my exhaust pipe looked at and the mechanic would not even look at it due to the noise my engine made and because of the amount of rust my car frame has. The front desk guy was nice and explained that it might not be worth it to invest more money into this vehicle which I understand, but why wouldn't the mechanic look at my exhaust pipe? That's what I scheduled my appointment for. Pretty rude in my opinion. I just need to keep this vehicle going until I can afford a different car and it sucks because I have no idea if my exhaust pipe will fall off and tear my muffler off with it because the mechanic refused to look at it.

Hey I'm really sorry to hear about this. I think the technician was worried about the safety of lifting the vehicle. Not outright refusing to look at it. We understand that it is your vehicle and your choice if and what to invest in it generally try to be compassionate toward your needs. The people working here were great. They helped me on short notice when my car was making a bad sound. It was late Friday afternoon, so I was nervous the shops wouldn’t have time to look at my car. I was able to get in right away and they showed me what was going on. It was a simple fix, and it was done within 45 minutes. I was impressed with how easy they made this experience, and would definitely come back. Thank so much!

This place is fabulous! I came in for my first time with some coupons I had received in the mail and they treated me like a gem. They even showed me my brake pads and proved to me what they were recommending so that I trusted their advice. They also quoted me a reasonable rate and offered me another coupon to help me out with the services. Then the sweetheart at the front desk put a cute pink carnation on my dash as a friendly gesture. It was such a sweet touch during a stressful week for me. I think that first visit made me a new loyal customer.

One of the best customer experiences I have ever had. I brought my car in for some work on the brakes and that was about as much as I knew coming in. Instead of throwing a bunch of “car lingo” at me, I was talked through the process in a way that I understood what was wrong and was brought out and shown the pieces that were broken and needed to be fixed. Each step of the way I was treated with respect and for once I didn’t walk out of an auto-center feeling dumb and just talked at. I was then given a list of things that needed to get done because of safety reasons and some other things that I might want to get done in the future. I didn’t feel like they threw everything that was possibly wrong on there. I was also expecting to have to wait a couple of days but my car was done the next day. In the meantime I was given a loaner car. The man at the front desk had pulled the car around and had it ready to go with the AC on (since it was a very hot day). He took the time to look me in the eye and actually talk to me. The two men at the front desk were so respectful and my business wasn’t just dollar signs. They took the time to build a relationship and look me in the eye and were some of the most, if not the most, respectful people. I am not going anywhere else.

I was very happy with my service. Quick and up front. Everyone who helped me out was very nice, and did their best to provide me with the best service possible. I had my car back with me within 24 hours, which was an unexpected surprise. Overall, very happy with my service.
